Michael Irvin Poses On Cover Of Gay Magazine To Promote Equality

Michael Irving Poses For Gay Magazine

Former Dallas Cowboys and Hall of Fame wide receiver Michael Irving is on the cover of Out Magazine, the #1 gay magazine in the world.

The former football star posed for the magazine to promote equality for homosexuals, and in the issue, spoke about his gay brother, Vaughn, who died of stomach cancer in 2006.

Prior to speaking with Out, Irvin had not spoken publicly about his brother.

Irvin also speaks about his support for gay marriage with Out.

“I don’t see how any African-American, with any inkling of history, can say that you don’t have the right to live your life how you want to live your life,” Irvin said to the magazine.

“No one should be telling you who you should love, no one should be telling you who you should be spending the rest of your life with.

“When we start talking about equality, and everybody being treated equally, I don’t want to know an African-American who will say everybody doesn’t deserve equality.”

Michael Irving speaks of his deceased brother who was gay. Im sure he supported him. The pictures are just an extension of his support and a way to honor his brother. I see a man secure in his manhood. People shouldn’t be so ignorant. If u have lunch with a gay person does that make u gay?
