Three brothers allegedly killed their own mother on Christmas Day because they didn’t want to play a family game of Yahtzee.

Tamara Lee Mason’s decomposing body was found buried in her back yard at her home in Alberta, Minnesota, six months after she disappeared.

Her three sons allegedly confessed to police that the youngest had strangled the 49-year-old, then the elder two hid her body in a shed for months until the ground was thawed enough to bury it.

The youngest, 17-year-old Jacob Cobb, has now been charged with 2 counts of 2nd degree murder after he allegedly strangled Ms Mason on the living room floor when the three brothers refused to play the dice game.

His brother, Andrew, 18, and his half-brother, 25-year-old Dylan C. Clemens, have been charged with accessory after the fact to murder.

Andrew is accused of putting a plastic bag over her head and tightening a belt round her neck, while the eldest allegedly disposed of the body.

The horrific murder allegedly happened on December 25 last year, after the family returned home from Christmas dinner at a friend’s house. What a sick bunch of kids.
