Oscar Grant’s Friend Fatally Shot In Parking Lot
Friends and family of Oscar Grant, who was shot and killed by BART police in 2009, have another tragedy to endure.
According to reports, 25-year-old Johntue Caldwell, who was the best friend of Oscar Grant, was fatally shot Friday evening while parked at a gas station in Fremont, California.
Police state at least one suspect approached and fired several rounds in Caldwell’s vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Caldwell was traveling with Oscar Grant when he was killed, and was also involved in a lawsuit against BART.
He was the godfather of Oscar Grant’s child.
Also, in an unrelated shooting death, a San Francisco teen was killed by police on Saturday.
Sadly, the number of shooting death stories coming out of the Bay Area is unreal.
