Edgar Jimenez Lugo, 14-Year-Old Hitman, Sentenced By Mexican Judge To Three Years In Prison

Teenage assassin, Edgar Jimenez Lugo, was previously reported as a suspected killer for a Mexican drug cartel.

The teen who confessed to killing four people whose beheaded bodies were found suspended from a bridge, was given the maximum sentence allowed for a minor in the central state of Morelos, three whole years.

The boy known as “El Ponchis” was drugged up at the time and has his own life threatened as he carried out the heinous acts as a 12-year-old.

Lugo, is a U.S citizen, born in San Diego, California who was allegedly working for drug dealer, Hector Beltran Leyva when he committed the murders.

In November, stories of a hit boy, maybe as young as 12, spread after a YouTube video appeared with teens mugging for the camera next to corpses and guns. One boy on the video alleged that “El Ponchis” was his accomplice.

Maybe the bosses knew that a minor getting caught and confessing to murder wouldn’t result in much jail time. Then again, Mexican prisons are slightly different from the correctional facilities in the U.S.
