ABC Says Sorry For Showing Minaj Areola
ABC is apologizing for airing Nicki Minaj’s now world famous “wardrobe malfunction” during a performance on Good Morning America despite the network employing a five-second delay.
A rep for the network tells TMZ that the bust slip, slipped past the live editing crew.
“Although we had a five-second delay in place for the Nicki Minaj concert on GMA , the live East Coast feed of the concert regrettably included certain fleeting images of the performer that were taken out of later feeds of the broadcast in other time zones. We are sorry that this occurred.”
Minaj’s left breast and Areola were exposed for several seconds during a performance on Good Morning America, last Friday (August 5). Many networks employ a time delay following Janet Jackson’s “Areola Gate” during Super Bowl XXXVIII.
