Loraine Smith, Aliyah Najm and Jacita Carter holding Soul Celebration Gala

The mothers of some of today’s top musical artists will join Grammy Award-winning singer and producer Ne-Yo for the inaugural Soul Celebration Gala.

The event taking place Friday, November 11, will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and include an exclusive performance by the singer/songwriter himself.

Also in attendance will be the honorary chairs for the celebration, Loraine Smith, mother of Ne-Yo; Aliyah Najm, mother of rapper T-Pain and Jacita Carter, mother of rapper Lil’ Wayne.

In addition to a performance, the evening will include dinner, a cocktail reception, silent auction and a celebrity meet-and-greet for sponsors and VIPs.

The event is particularly important considering its ties to St. Jude, the only pediatric cancer research center where families never pay for treatment not covered by insurance, and families without insurance are never asked to pay.

No child is ever denied treatment because of a family’s inability to pay.

Tickets can be reserved for this charitable cause by visiting www.stjude.org/soulcelebration or calling 1-800-654-8563.

The inaugural soul celebration gala will take place at Atlanta’s J.W. Marriott Buckhead.
