Rick Perry Calls Obama a “Big Black Cloud”

Texas Governor Rick Perry, who recently announced he would be running for president in 2012, might want to choose his words a little more wisely.

According to reports, when speaking of President Barack Obama, Perry referred to the President as a, “big black cloud” hanging over the country and also added that there is a “big black guy running the country and I’m not too happy about it.”

From Loop21.com:

When talking about the state of the economy and how President Barack Obama is handling it, he chose some rather colorful language.

“He says he’s on a listening tour, so I’m going to talk to him,” said Perry with this Texas twang.

“Mr. President, you need to free up the employers of this country to create jobs…I’m a pro-business governor, I don’t make any apologies about it and I will be a pro-business president.”

After that he said that a “big black cloud” was hanging over the country. In Perry-speak that means there’s a “big black guy running the country and I’m not too happy about it.”

But Obama wasn’t the only person in Perry’s crosshairs. He also attacked the real president Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke.

In response to whispers of Bernanke possibly printing more money, Perry quipped, “If this guy prints more money between now and the election, I dunno what y’all would do to him in Iowa but we would treat him pretty ugly down in Texas.”

Does this sound like someone that should be the next U.S. president? Doubt that.
