LL Cool J’s BET Hip Hop Award Acceptance Speech
LL Cool J was honored with the I Am Hip Hop Icon award during the BET Hip-Hop Awards, which aired last night.
And as the true MC he is, instead of giving a traditional acceptance speech, the veteran rapper gave his words of acceptance in rhyme form saying:
“My acceptance speech/what I won’t do is try preach/I won’t assume that I am smarter than you and try to teach/What I will do is set an example for you and inspire you to reach for the stars that’s beyond mars that space bars can’t delete…”
