Muammar al-Gadaffi Killed
Libyan officials have confirmed that the Prime Minister of Libya Muammar al-Gadaffi is dead.
The dictator who was said to be “the most wanted man in the world” was killed this morning by rebel forces after suffering a gunshot wound to the head and legs.
Libyan Prime Minister Mahmoud Jibri confirmed the news saying that he was captured and shot in his hometown of Sirte.
“We have been waiting for this moment for a long time. Moammar Gadhafi has been killed, Jibri said.
The White House has yet to release a statement on the news of his death.
Pictures of his body have been broadcast on television.
A former Gaddafi associate confirmed to CNN that he was 90% sure it was Gaddafi in the pictures.
