Nelly Opens Ex’treme Institute By Nelly St. Louis

Nelly is announcing plans to open a new recording academy in his hometown of St. Louis.

According to a press release, the St. Lunatic will open his academy at Vatterott College.

Formally named the ‘Ex’treme Institute by Nelly-St. Louis ‘, the building will permit students real life experience working alongside artists, producers and engineers in the music industry.

The 9,000-square foot facility, located on Laclede’s Landing in downtown St. Louis, will house a recording studio, a music engineering space, and a design studio in which students can work on creating album covers and other music related artwork.

Pam Bell, Chief Executive Officer and President of Vatterott Educational Centers, Inc. has released a statement on the recording acadamey saying,

“Working with Nelly and his team has been an exciting opportunity for us at Vatterott College. Nelly has shown such commitment to the people of St. Louis and is taking great steps in training the next generation of music producers. We couldn’t be more excited to partner with one of St. Louis’ most celebrated music artists.”
