The new year is approaching, and The Weeknd fans were getting antsy for some new tunes. Luckily the Toronto crooner gave in and released his lastest effort, ‘Echoes of Silence.’
The mixtape continues with the moody theme that garnered success with his previous releases, ‘House of Balloons’ and ‘Thursday.’ The singer starts off boldly with a an impressive rendition of Michael Jackson’s “Dirty Diana,” captivating ears with “XO” and “Initiation,” and closing off with an unexpectedly softer toned title track.
