It is a claim the rapper himself say are untrue.

The New York Daily News reports that  Jay-Z briefly addressed the poem as he prepares for a Wednesday (January 18) night reopening of his popular high-end sports bar the 40/40 Club . Jay-Z told The New York Daily News, “That poem and story are fake” – saying little else and instead focusing on tonight’s red-carpet gala.

A number of music and entertainment websites, including NME, reported about the alleged poem, which promptly exploded throughout the Web. Hip-Hop Wired reached out to NME editors to confirm how they obtained the alleged poem but did not garner a response.

A source close to the musical power couple said that Beyoncé will make her first post-baby appearance at tonight’s event for the 40/40 reboot.
