Dancehall Reggae star Elephant Man has been charged with grievous s*xual assault and r@pe according to Jamaica Star Online. The police said the charges stem from an incident at his St. Andrew home earlier this month.
Investigators said a woman, believed to be of Chinese descent, filed a police report shortly after claiming that Elephant Man, whose real name is Oneil Bryan, s*xually assaulted her.
The police said detectives to the Centre for the Investigation of S*xual Offences and Child Abuse conducted investigations, which led to Elephant Man’s arrest yesterday. They said he was questioned in the presence of his attorney yesterday and then later charged with grievous s*xual assault and r@pe.
Elephant Man was booked and is scheduled to appear in court tomorrow.
