Chris Brown Tweets His Haters, Then Deletes The Post

Chris Brown is the master of pulling a “tweet and delete” and it looks like the singer has struck again. Brown learned the hard way that shooting from the hip in response to his critics isn’t always a good thing, so when he tweeted the haters who don’t like the fact that he performed at the Grammy’s and won an award, he quickly had second thoughts.

“HATE ALL U WANT BECUZ I GOT A GRAMMY Now!” he wrote. “That’s the ultimate Fawk OFF!” The response sounded like a pretty good comeback, but just like like that, the tweet was gone as if it never existed. Maybe he realized that thinking without tweeting just opens him up to more trouble, or perhaps he just doesn’t care anymore.

Brown’s performance on music’s biggest night has garnered criticism from musicians like Adam Lambert—whose parents just happen to run a shelter for battered women—and country star Miranda Lambert (no relation) who was outraged that he was even allowed in the building. All this chatter over the 22-year-old turned him into a trending topic on Twitter Wednesday (Feb. 15) which quickly killed him off with the infamous #RIP hashtag. One person not laughing at the obvious hoax was a Wiz Khalifa imposter, who some outlets foolishly believed was actually the rapper himself. “Rip Chris Brown? Seriously,” the phony, who has nearly 70,00 clearly confused followers, wrote. “Grow up. Death is nothing to joke about k. People die everyday and you’re just sitting and joking about it. Smh.”

Of course the Virginia native continues to garner criticism for everything from his explosive temper tantrums, to his love for skinny jeans, but above all else he has made legal strides to put the incident behind him. Brown has completed most of his obligations stemming from his five-year probation sentence, handed down after pleading guilty to felony assault. He has also had the protective order barring him from having any contact with Rihanna, lifted and is said to be “friends” with his ex. Despite his good behavior, last week a Los Angeles County judge denied his appeal to be taken off of unsupervised probation two years early for good behavior, but has previously received raves for his commitment to writing his wrongs.

Oh, and he’s still very much alive. Don’t let Twitter fool you.
