UPDATE (February 19, 4:37pm): A representative from Universal Records has told Hip-Hop Wired that Tyga’s Careless World albumwhich leaked online late last week, is still being released on Tuesday, February 21.

The release YMCMB rapper Tyga’s new Careless World: Rise of the Last King album has reportedly hit a snag. It seems that due to an unauthorized sample of Martin Luther King Jr. on the album’s opening track, “Careless World,” retailers have been instructed to return their shipments of the album. After many delays, Careless World was finally scheduled to be in stores this Tuesday, February 21.

The “Rack City” rapper mentioned the matter on Twitter. “damn..tryna pull my album out stores.they dont want me to win huh..lol,” he tweeted, before adding a couple of more messages that said Careless World will still be in stores February 21.

However, the message to retailers, as seen in a post by Zeke on Twitter, who appears to be a Best Buy employee, clearly states that an album without the MLK, Jr. dialogue won’t be available for two weeks.
