Rick Ross can now officially wipe the sweat off of his brow. After a man was found shot to death in front of Ross’ Miami Gardens home on February 29, MTV News reports that an area detective has confirmed that the Bawse is neither a suspect nor will he sought for questioning regarding the death of the unnamed man.

Although Rick Ross does own the home, it is not his primary residence and is removed from any connection involved with the case. “He lives at a different location,” Detective Michael Wright told MTV News.

Ross’ name was originally connected after Miami Gardens officers responded to 911 calls at around 7 a.m. EST that gunshots were heard in the area. Once officers arrived, they found a man with bullet wounds in the front yard of the home that Ross owns. As of press time, the name of the deceased has not been released and Ross is apparently in the clear.
