Whoever is running the ship at Abercrombie & Fitch needs to be fired, immediately. In this latest example of the plight of post-racial America, the clothing company has decided to describe a pair of pants as “ni**er brown.

According to their website the cargo pants are perfect due to their “dedication,” which can be seen in their “stitching, designs, detailing, fabric and color contrasting.” Even more shocking is the fact that none of the customers writing product reviews on the pants made mentioned to the racist title.

Surely another term (perhaps just the word brown) could have been used to help the shopper make a distinction between the shades of pants, but Abercrombie has a history of making bad decisions to get publicity. Aside from pushing the child molester envelope by selling children’s thongs, they also attempted to pay Jersey Shore star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino to stop wearing their clothing.

Of course this could very well be the result of a vicious hacking job or a bad translation, according to Gawker, but if not, putting a racial slur on their website reigns supreme in their tireless battle for attention. It will be interesting to see how they plan to explain this one.
