Lauryn Hill recently performed at the ZulaSoundBar in South Africa for artist Kanyi Mavi’s release party. In the footage Ms. Hill sound damn good, wowing the crowd with an impromptu performance that slips into an interpolation of her hit “Lost Ones.”

However, while Lauryn Hill impressed in the video below, fans at the  Capetown Jazz Music Festival this past weekend were not as pleased.  Allegedly, concertgoers  had enough of the sound problems and Ms. Hill’s diva like antics and decided to break out after just a few song. Says Capital FM:

Hill continued her set with multiple interruptions, alleging that sound problems prevented the crowd from “hearing her.”  At one point, Hill even left the stage to speak to someone backstage.

By the end of her 3rd track, disgruntled audience members began streaming out of the packed venue and headed to the other headlining acts on the 4 remaining stages.  Die-hard fans left the concert and took to social media to express their disappointment.

Everything ain’t always everything. See photos of L Boogie’s Capetown Jazz Music Festival performance in the gallery.
