“I’m just happy happy to be a group member,” says Killer Mike. The Atlanta MC isn’t talking about his forthcoming R.A.P. Music album, a collaborative project with El-P dropping May 15th. Instead he is referring to a project he has in the works (and is tight on the details) with Big Boi of OutKast. Back on great terms with the ATL veteran after a falling out a few years back, Killer Kill from Adamsville told Hip-Hop Wired he is excited about the album’s potential.

“I’m looking forward to going back and forth with Big [Boi] a whole record,” says Killer Mike. “People always liked the collaborations we did.  I’m not talking about “The Whole World,” stuff you know, like “A.D.I.D.A.S.” I’m talking about like “Bust,” “Snappin & Trappin.” When it’s just me and him like two pitbulls going at a bone. That’s what I enjoy. My skill set goes up according to who I’m with. So in particular when I rap with Big Boi, T.I. and Bun B, magic happens. So I’m looking forward to going 12 songs back and forth.”

Watch Killer Mike explain how he plans on bringing out the “pimp playa” Big Boi and finally getting around to working with No ID again in our exclusive video below.
