Gil Noble, a pioneering journalist, who happened to also be African-American, died on April 5th, 2012. Thanks to his long running Like It Is program on WABC-TV, Noble leaves an indelible legacy of documenting and revealing the plight of African-Americans in the United States, and throughout the world, via the mainstream media. WABC, where Noble launched his show in 1968, took a short but insightful look at Noble and his storied career with commentary from David Dinkins, Rev. Al Sharpton and other notable names.
