Stalley’s career is in a good space thanks to talent and a Maybach Music Group co-sign. Also proper is the Ohio rapper’s sneaker game. Pay attention and you will notice Stalley is always rocking a crispy pair of kicks. But the “Everything New” rapper is conflicted by the direction he sees the sneaker game going.
“The sneaker game is crazy is now man, the whole camping out,” said Stalley, who was rocking a pair of fresh, black and gold LeBron Elite 9s. “It’s getting a little wild. The whole Galaxy Foams, that’s just crazy, like selling for $6,000. It’s cool ’cause I see what it’s doing. But at the same time it’s not cool because it kind of messes up the game. The whole reselling and hiking up the prices and people dying over them, it’s just wild. It’s hard to balance the two, or two say if it’s good or if it’s not.”Nike recently implemented a Twitter RSVP policy to help quell insane sneaker line ups. We’ll see if it works.
