Somebody needs to teach Ted Nugent the meaning of respect. The pony-tailed musician, and well-known right-wing activist, is coming under fire for unleashing a disrespectful rant against Pres. Obama, and his cabinet members.

While speaking at a National Rifle Association event, Nugent attacked the commander in chief, while throwing more support behind Republican presidential candidate, Mitt Romney. “If you can’t galvanize and promote and recruit people to vote for Mitt Romney, we’re done. We’ll be a suburb of Indonesia next year,”  he said. “Our president, attorney general, vice president, Hillary Clinton–they’re criminals. They’re criminals. Who doesn’t know the crimes our government are committing?” He also threatened to be  “dead or in jail by this time next year,” if Obama wins re-election.

Romney quickly distanced himself from the explosive statements, but the Secret Service isn’t taking the callous remarks lightly. The security unit, which is currently knee-deep in a prostitution scandal, has launched an investigation. “We are conducting the appropriate follow-up now,” Secret Service spokesperson George Ogilvie said.

As for the President, rather than be caught up on Nugent’s nonsense, he’s focusing on more important issues, like running the country.
