I guess we know who is having the best week ever. Meek Mill has joined his MMG partner, Wale, by signing to Roc Nation’s Management team. He hinted to his affiliation with Jay-Z on his new mixtape, Dreamchasers 2, but he confirmed this in an interview with Hov’s site,Life + Times.
“Yeah, that’s the new deal I put together. Me coming up in this rap game, I was always an underground artist coming up by myself and making all of the moves by myself,” he told the site. “And my manager – he’s just like me, we’ve been coming up in the streets by ourselves. So we just decided to partner up with Roc Nation and take things to another level.”
Meek joins frequent collaborator, Jahlil Beats and his alleged new flame Rihanna on Roc Nation’s management team. Meek also celebrated his 25th birthday this week.
