Meek Mill has been burning up the Internet this week. He already had a strong digital following, but dropping his Dreamchasers 2 mixtape launched him into the stratosphere. The Philly rapper’s mixtape clocked over 2 million downloads since Monday (May 7), and more than 4.6 million views. With features from Drake, Big Sean, Mac Miller, Kendrick Lamar, and more he could’ve very well dropped the project as a full-length album and reaped the financial benefits, but  for Mill the fan response gave him validation.  “It felt good, I been working on it for the last six months,” he told Hip-Hop Wired. “It felt good to know something you worked on turned out right. It’s giving me more confidence, gave more motivation to going into the album. It’s a good feeling. Being hot is just an all-around good feeling.”

Much like Dreamchasers 2 release, the 25-year-old’s debut will feature some of the hottest rapper’s in the game. Check out the rest of our exclusive interview below.
