No matter how much will.i.am gets clowned, hated on and slandered by Hip-Hop heads for his knack at creating Pop hits smash hits, dude stilled played the Fender Rhodes on Mos Def’s “Umi Says.” The East Los Angeles native’s new cut, “This Is Love,” featuring Eva Simons, won’t win back any fans lost after the Black Eyed Peas’ Behind The Front (1998) debut and Bridging The Gap two years later, but will nevertheless sound like a winner to the fist pumping set. “This Is Love” is from will.i.am’s forthcoming #willpower album, in stores later this year. Hey, at least there aren’t any Fergie vocals on this one. No shade. Watch the clip below.
