A Connecticut daycare worker has some explaining to do after footage of her bullying a 3-year-old Black boy hit the ‘Net. Lindsay Cavallaro, an employee at Sleeping Giant Day Care in Hamden, reacted to the young boy’s tantrum by daring him to make good on his empty threats.

Since he’s only 3-years-old, the boy—named Michael— was upset after he was placed in what appears to be a timeout. Rather than tend to the other students, Cavallaro decided to patronize the child. “Do it. Go ahead. No balls. Oh you’re a tough guy. Hey boss, show me your nine,” she said, after the boy said he’d smash her phone.

The boy’s mother, Tyesha Reese, saw the footage, which had made its way around the neighborhood. “It got into someone’s hands who actually saw the video and was like, wait a minute, I recognize whose son this is and that’s when they forwarded it to me and said ‘I need you to see this,” she said. “And when I saw my son’s face it was just unbelievable, you know.

Reese has since taken her son out the school, and Cavallaro has been placed on paid leave.

While it is unclear why the teacher videotaped herself, she is one of many people who incriminated themselves online. Last month four Black women were arrested after videotaping their attack on a high school student, and in April, an Ohio teen was taken into custody after video of her fighting another girl went viral.
