Lil Wayne has no plans to kill his Tha Carter series anytime soon. On Sunday (July 1), the Young Money team leader participated in a live chat with fans for ESPN’s 2012 X Games coverage and released details about his new  album.

Weezy responded to a total of 40 questions, one of which revolved around the actual release date for Tha CarterV. “[ThaCarter V will come most likely next year,” he answered.

It’s been two years since the release of his last album Tha Carter IV, which spawned hits like “6 Foot 7 Foot,”  “How To Love” and “She Will.” The release— which marked Wayne’s first full-length project since getting out of jail— sold 964,000 copies in its first week, slightly falling short of 2008’s Tha Carter III album, which went platinum in seven days.

Null of an official debut date, HipHopDX is also reporting that Wayne wants to collaborate with the likes of Emimen, and Gloria Estefan.

That should be interesting.
