Tameka Raymond is not giving up hope that her son will recover from the horrific accident that left him in critical condition over the weekend. Yesterday, we reported that Kyle— Raymond’s son with producer, Ryan Glover— was declared brain dead by doctors, and the mother of five is asking for the public’s support. Raymond spoke to Radar Online regarding her son’s status, simply saying “He’s bad,” and (allegedly) went on Facebook to elicit prayers. “Kyle, You are strong.. You’ll be saved I know it. I love you my baby. I need all #Prayers for my son! thanks you everybody!”
Raymond, has been by her son’s side since finding out about the incident. She was out of town at the time, but her ex-husband, Usher, chartered a private plane in order for her to get to the hospital as soon as possible. Although the twosome have been at odds with one another over custody of their two sons, they are united in hoping for the 11-year-old’s recovery. Usher is also said to also be at the hospital with his ex.
In an interview with Uptown Magazine earlier this year, Raymond called her former husband spoiled. “He is a man very accustomed to having his way,” she said. “This has nothing to do with how I parent. Trust me, I never will have a desire to keep a man away from his kids. I am not June Cleaver or head of the PTA, but I know I am a good mother.”
Surely this unfortunate situation has helped them put aside their difference, for the time being.
