Some people haven’t learned from Michael Vick’s mistakes. Detroit rapper, Young Calicoe, is the focus of an investigation as of Monday (July 9) for recording a tour of his home, and displaying the animals he keeps for dog and rooster fights.

Doing his best impression of an episode of MTV’s Cribs, Calicoe shows off his house, for a video interview conducted by Midnight TV Hood Reality. “Anybody wanna fight some dogs?” he asks opening the gate which houses the animals, kept in makeshift kennels. “Hope we don’t get indicted for that, that Michael Vick type sh-t.”

Calicoe shows the dogs, and roosters, one of which he points out as being a “grand champ.” Yet in response to the controversy, he now maintains that he never actually fights the dogs (on camera). “If u find a video of me ‘FIGHTING DOGS’ PLEEEEZE LET ME KNO,”  he tweeted.

Detroit Police Officer, Dan Donakowski announced that the department is “looking into” the situation. An official investigation will be conducted by the Michigan Humane Society.
