Add Angel Haze to the enigma that is the female Hip-Hop scene. The up-and-coming Native American MC out of New York City drops off her latest EP titled Reservation, which includes notable songs like “New York” and “Werkin’ Girl.” Also includes Nicole Wray and KOOL A.D. of Das Racist to round out the feature portion of the 14 track debut.

“‘Hot Like Fire’ (off of Reservation) is like a revival of the 90’s, you know? Back when music made you feel something other than just a desire to dance,” Angel Haze tells Rolling Stone. It’s the beat, the summer sun, the lyrics, and the intent all wrapped into one great A$$ song. It’s a time machine.”

Angel will be throwing an album release party for Reservation at Santos Party House this Thursday, July 19th. Fans can cop tickets here.
