George Zimmerman is finally ready to address the public. The accused killer has been relatively quiet since his lawyer Mike O’Mara shut down his first donation website, but will appear on Fox News (no surprise there) for Sean Hannity’s talk show, Wednesday (July 18) night.

Picking Fox News to air his first interview was an obvious choice, as his supporters likely fall in the same demographic as viewers of the notably racist network. “Zimmerman will open up about what happened the night of Trayvon Martin’s death and his experience in the aftermath of the fatal shooting,”  reports the Huffington Post

Zimmerman has spoken with Hannity before. In April, he had an “off the record” conversation with the broadcaster, not long after second-degree murder charges were brought against him.

While it is unclear exactly which issues he will address, Zimmerman has a lot to choose from. Earlier this week prosecutors released droves of new evidence including an account from his female relative, known only as “Witness 9,” who accused him of molesting her for over a decade. The relative also stated that Zimmerman was racist, an issue that has been at the brunt of his attack on Martin, whom he painted as a threat to his personal safety. Zimmerman maintains that shooting the unarmed teen had nothing to do with race, which was backed up by the FBI investigators who determined  that the former neighborhood watch captain was more power-hungry than anything else.

The 28-year-old was released from custody last week after posting $1 million bail, and is looking to have the judge in his case replaced.
