Da Internz‘ who have been behind some of the biggest hits of the last couple of years including Big Sean’s “A$$,” Rihanna’s “Birthday Cake” and more suffered a loss in their musical family today. Aaron Michael Cox, an artist under Da Internz, has passed away from testicular cancer.

The 22-year-old singer-songwriter was diagnosed with stage 4 testicular cancer in June. It quickly spread to his lungs and was so far along that Cox never had the chance to start chemotherapy. Cox had just recently worked with artists such as Nas and Ludacris as well as scoring a publishing deal shortly before he succumbed to cancer. 

A memorial will be held in his honor  celebrating his life will be held tonight at 6:30 p.m. at the Universal Music Publishing Group offices in Santa Monica. Information for the tribute are down below.
