Machine Gun Kelly has graduated from talking about all the black girls that he’s been orally pleased by, and turned the attention to his music. The 22-year-old, showed off his freestlying skills in a recorded session in an alley for FILTER magazine.

True to form, Kelly doesn’t hold anything back and is refreshingly candid right from the start. “This ain’t no halo over my head b-tch,” he raps over a makeshift beat courtesy of a spray painted wall. “But dear God can you forgive a sinner for everything that did since the beginning/ Because the devil around me so much that you would think I had a death wish.”

He goes on to spit on his career which is poised to “disappear like powder,” and makes mention of the voices in his head.

To his credit, Kelly is pretty nice on the freestyle tip, but he wraps things up with this interesting line: “All I am now was a slave, my God.”

Right.
