I Do: 10 Songs Rappers Dedicated To The Women In Their Lives

Snoop Dogg – “Different Languages”
Dedicated To: Shante Broadus

Snoop Dogg is known for his way with the bitches (pun intended). But on his 2009 album Malice In Wonderland, The Doggfather decided to scribe a track for his dedicated wife of 12 years, Shante Broadus. The result was “Different Languages” featuring Jazmine Sullivan. No dog house for Snoop.

Bars for Shante: “Jay got Beyoncé, I got Shante. With no entrée, that’s my baby.”

Cool post Mr.Coleman. I feel like rappers dedicating songs to their moms has almost become a sort of cliche…its only really interesting when there a unique story to be told. Anyways, this post included mostly songs for ppl who they were dating – good compilation. Which is your favorite? the Nas song?
