Benzino’s name has been ringing on the Internets lately, and it has nothing to do with his past exploits at The Source, his current gig as co-owner/co-founder of Hip-Hop Weekly or even infamously beefing with Eminem and Interscope Records. Zino is back in the spotlight thanks to his appearances on VH1’s Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta, where he is a good buddie of Stevie J and romantically involved with Karlie Redd. During last week’s episode of the reality series, the latter confronted the “Rock The Party” rapper about his alleged anger issues. The Boston native was pretty forthcoming when we asked him about any emotional issues he may have.

“Maybe I might have had anger issues in some instances,” said Benzino. “Maybe I may get emotional, but that’s with all my emotions. If I love somebody, I love hard. If I’m sad, I’m real sad. I think a lot of the issues with me and her with the anger was probably not so much as much as it was frustration. Trying to make this relationship work within all the cameras and within her and her career, it was more frustration than it was anger, to be honest.”

Check out Benzino talking more about whether or not Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta is scripted (“The only thing that was probably reenacted was when we met,” he says.) in the video below.
