Word to Oz fans, Adebisi is back in action—sort of. Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, the actor who played Adebisi on the HBO series, has landed a role in Thor: The Dark World, reports Variety.

Agbaje has grabbed two roles in the film, starring Chris Hemsworth, who also brought the character to The Avengers.

The British actor–whose acting credits include G.I. Joe, The Bourne Identity, and ABC’s Lost—will play the roles of Algrim the Strong and Kurse. In the comic books, Algrim the Strong is the most powerful of the race of Dark Elves, all of whom were pressured to fight Thor by Maleki.  Algrim is injured in the battle, and transforms into the brawnier figure Kurse, who holds twice the strength of Thor.

Upon its debut last May, the first Thor film grossed $66 million opening weekend, and has brought in over $180 million domestically.

Thor: The Dark World is slated for release in November 8, 2013 and will mark  the return of Tom Hiddleston as Thor’s brother Loki, Idris Elba as Heimdall, Anthony Hopkins as Odin, and Natalie Portman as Thor’s love interest, Jane Foster.

The film is set to shoot in London, and will be helmed by Game of Thrones director, Alan Taylor.
