Rihanna is hitting the stage for the MTV Video Music Awards next month. Rih Rih hasn’t been announced as a performer by the network but broke the news on Twitter, after a fan posted that she’d been added to the line-up. “PH-CK YES I WILLLL!!! JUST FOR MY NAVY!!!!” she tweeted .

Both Rihanna and Drake lead the nominations race, each nabbing five nods. The 24-year-old is up for Video of the Year, Best Female Video, and Best Pop Video for “We Found Love,” and was nominated for her feature on Drake’s “Take Care” single.

No word yet on what her show will include, but the Barbados native has more than enough content to chose from. She reigns as the highest selling digital artist with over 50 million sales in online singles in just six years.

Last weekend, her candid interview with Oprah Winfrey aired on OWN, and found the singer getting emotional about her relationship with Chris Brown. “I just felt like he made that mistake because he needed help … and who’s going to help him?” she said of the 2009 assault that left her bruised and battered at the hands of the Virginia crooner.

With the emotional weight lifted off her shoulders, Rihanna has gotten back into the swing of things, hitting Japan before touching back down in Los Angeles this week.

The MTV Video Music Awards air live Thursday (Sept. 6) at 8 p.m. and will be hosted by comedian Kevin Hart.
