A promoter working with Snoop Dogg, is being sued over a night club appearance that never came into fruition. Exchange LA, the club which filed the suit, alleges that Movement Management failed to deliver on their promise to bring Snoop to the venue.

Exchange shelled out a $15,000 deposit to secure Snoop, only to find out that the Long Beach, Calif. native was double-booked an unable to make the June 30th appearance. Snoop was said to be overseas at the time, but Exchange has no plans of eating the money they already paid out. The company asked Movement Management to return the funds but got no response, forcing them to take legal action. They are seeking money to cover the deposit, and tacked on an additional $100,000 in punitive damages.

With a reported net worth of $100 million, Snoop is no stranger to lawsuits. Back in March a woman sued the father of three and blogger Perez Hilton, over a 2010 alleged altercation at the SXSW music festival. The woman claims that she was verbally abused by Snoop’s manager while driving the rapper to the show.

Movement Management has not yet filed a response to the current lawsuit.
