Missy Elliott is back with the second of her new songs with Timbaland called “Triple Threat.” The sports references are in here heavy as the “Supa Dupa Fly” star follows up “9th Inning” with another new jam. This one has a little bit more bounce than “9th Inning” and features a Pimp C sample from his classic verse on Jay-Z’s “Big Pimpin.”
Missy boasts about being a triple threat because she raps, sings and dances. She also says that she’ll “slap anyone who thinks she’s irrelevant.” In that case, slap anyone who isn’t messing with this new joint.
