Up and coming Philly MC Sosa has been building momentum since dropping his collaborative track with Joell Ortiz titled “Philly To the BX.” The 23 year old’s new found appeal granted him a recent appearance on DJ Kay Slay’s Streetsweeper Radio, where videographer Jay Wes captured the experience. During the interview, Sosa spoke on how CNN (Capone-N-Noreaga) were among the artist who greatly influenced him to become a MC.

Sosa also spoke on a few peers he would collaborate with, stating “I wouldn’t mind working with Kendrick Lamar man. He’s hot.” He also mentioned A$AP Rocky as well, but he made it a point to say that he could go toe to toe with either artists.

A trip to Streetsweeper Radio wouldn’t be complete without a hot freestyle, and the young MC delivered like only a Philly lyricist could, spitting lines like “Over iron pipe, I was 7 feet in my prior life/But it seems like my swag maintain my prior height.”
