As far as we’re concerned, Roc Marciano’s proper sophomore album, Reloaded, can’t get here soon enough. Marci blesses us with some new lyrical menace with “I Shot The King,” which will be a bonus cut on the aforementioned project.

The L.I. spitter as usual is effortless with the flow. “Tied in with the shooters ni–as know the resume/Red Chevrolet, AK, no pepper spray, with shades/Shoot through your image like an x-ray/collect the pay where the Mets play,” spits Marci over brooding chords and marching but subtle drums. And that’s light work. There is also: “Swift with the steel, Kendall Gill with the pill, I shoot good from the field/Never miss never will/Click your heels/It’s a deal/Quick get your wig peeled/you got f-cked, how the d-ck feel.”

Reloaded is in stores November 13th via Decon Records.
