DJ Drama hit up The Breakfast Club to promote his new album, Quality Street Music, but a topic that was discussed first was last weekend’s tussle between Young Jeezy and Rick Ross at the BET Hip Hop Awards. Barack O’Drama witnessed the backstage meeting of the rival Def Jam labelmates and doesn’t hold any of them at fault for what went down.

“Grown men are still grown men and there are still issues,” said Drama. “I don’t [want] to put all the fault on them, I don’t want to put all the fault on BET. But, when you have a situation like that where you have people who don’t get along in one building, I think you need to be a little more strategic so those situations don’t happen. I don’t think there should have been any reasons why those two guys ran into each other.”

DJ Drama’s fourth album, Quality Street Music, is in stores now. Watch the rest of the interview with DJ Envy, Charlamagne Tha God and Angela Yee below.
