Gunplay Not In Jail, Will Still Play A3C Show In Atlanta This Weekend

Although we reported on news that Maybach Music Group artist Gunplay was heading to the slammer earlier today, it appears that the story which broke on New York radio morning show The Breakfast Club on Power 105.1 isn’t exactly true. According to our good friends over at The Smoking Section, Don Logan is still free for the moment.

Gotty of TSS says that his team got in contact with Gunplay’s management and confirmed that he’ll be making The Smoking Section’s annual showcase this weekend for at the A3C Hip-Hop Festival. Gunplay is the headlining performer for the “Perfect Attendance” event this Friday (October 12) along with Trae The Truth, Vado, Thurz, Grande Marshall and more.

This is good news for fans of Mr. 106 & Snort that are no doubt flocking to Atlanta this weekend for the three-day festival. Along with Gunplay will be acts such as Raekwon, Killer Mike, Twista, Just Blaze, Skyzoo, and GZA among countless others in various venues throughout the city.

The festival runs from October 11 to 13 ,and HipHopWired will be live on the ground to report on the many happenings so stay tuned.
