The BET Hip Hop Awards aired last night (October 9th) and one of the show’s highlights was the Chris Lighty tribute that capped the night’s festivities. Artists from the storied music exec’s Violator Management—A Tribe Called Quest, Busta Rhymes, Fat Joe, Missy Elliott and 50 Cent—hit the stage with performances to honor their late friend with a medley of some their biggest hits.

LL Cool J provided an intro with kind words about Lighty before Q-Tip and Phife set things off performing “Award Tour,” followed by Busta Rhymes with a hyper rendition of “Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See.” Funkmaster Flex was behind the wheels of steel as Fat Joe (“Lean Back”), Missy Elliott (“Get Ur Freak On”) and 50 Cent (“I Get Money”) also put on for their fallen comrade.

Watch the full performance below. Rest In Power Chris Lighty.
