G-Unit founding members gave fans a trifecta of projects this year with Curtis Jackson’s Murder By Numbers, Lloyd Banks’ V6, and S-x, Drugs and Hip-Hop.
Founding member of G-Unit Tony Yayo is far from done though, as he channels that classic G-Unit sound on his latest track “Bad Guy,” featuring the incarcerated Broad Street Bully, Beanie Sigel. Both MCs lace the track’s menacing production with some of their more noteworthy verses of recent memory.
“Bad Guy” is the latest of a series of tracks setting new precedents for the Queens MC. Yayo is no longer relying on 50 Cent for a cosign, and is instead releasing his music from the muscle. “Bad Guy” will appear on Tony Yayo’s forthcoming mixtape Gun Powder Guru 5, which has no set release date currently.
