What began as an organic working friendship has turned into a full project, as Gangrene MC Oh No and producer Chris Keys prep the release of their forthcoming album Ashes. “Feet,” the LP’s second single, draws its musical influence from the combination of a traditional folk guitar sample with a steady four on the floor drum beat with busy percussive elements, according to Keys.
The Bay Area producer channelled his inspiration to create this dark track, featuring dirty guitar chops, while Oh No speaks on the importance of persevering. Ashes has an October 23rd release date and can be pre-ordered here. Check out the track below.
