The leader of the free world’s private plane inspires a sneaker? Why not?

The latest entry in Nike Air Force 1 Pearl Collection, which celebrates the 30th anniversary of the shoe, is themed after Air Force One, the Boeing 747 that Barack Obama zig zags the nation, and the world, in.

The hi-top sneaker features a premium leather collar and leather ankle strap. There is a flag patch on the heel, reflective hits and dimples that were designed to look like the rivets on Obama’s plan. The midsole is light blue with a gold rim at the top and the outsole also has hits of black. The 27000 is the tail number found on the actual 747, although its official page says different. The shoe will be out this month in limited quantities.

Would you add these to your collection.
