President Obama isn’t giving Donald Trump’s ridiculous $5 million proposal more than a good laugh. During an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, the president brushed off Trump’s cry for attention, and made light of the running joke that he wasn’t born in America.

Quipping that he and Trump had constant run-ins when they were growing up in Kenya, the president found humor in the whole thing. “We had constant run-ins on the soccer field,” Obama said, when asked about Trump’s vendetta against him. “He wasn’t very good and resented it. When we finally moved to America I thought it would be over.”

On a serious note, the POTUS praised Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who recently took responsibility for the Sept. 11 attacks in Libya.“She’s done a wonderful job. “I would love for her to stay [on the job].”

In spite of his “begging,” Obama revealed that Clinton may step down to spend more time with her family.

Wednesday was a busy day for both the president and his opponent, Mitt Romney. After spending only two hours in California, Obama headed to Las Vegas to campaign, then spent time calling supporters from Air Force One, while Romney hit four different time zones in one day.
