Thoroughly respected Detroit Hip-Hop artists Guilty Simpson and Apollo Brown will be dropping a joint album called Dice Game. Today, the  MC and producer tandem, respectively, release the first single from the aforementioned project titled “Truth Be Told.”

Over a majestic, organ filled groove with crashing drums, Guilty lyrically reminisces about his come up on the streets of the D. “I tried college, momma said son you gotta do better/Kicked out first semester/Beefing with locals over stuff I didn’t give a Fawk about, but they did, so we bucked it out,” spits the Random Axe rapper. From the sound of this song, it’s a safe bet the album is going to be quality.

Apollo Brown and Guilty Simpson’s Dice Game will be in stores November 13th, via the Mello Music Group, and you can already pre-order it on iTunes.
