Now this is the Uncle L we can believe in. After dropping a song called “Ratchet” that was coolly received ignored, LL Cool J returns with an R&B flavored joint called “Take It,” featuring Joe.

Although thought to be courtesy of Trackmaster, FWMJ reports that Beat Fanatic producer TheARE handles the production on this one. The NCIS: Los Angeles actor and fade distributor kicks smooth love raps over the syrupy groove while crooner Joe comes through with the matching vocals. Songs like these, along with searing battle raps when need be, have been the bread and butter of the Queens rapper’s career.

LL’s new album, Authentic Hip Hopis coming soon but your guess is as good as hours when it comes to a specific date.
